4. He was buried in what is now Forsyth County, but at the time was Stokes County. This is a chronic problem for me in editing these NC profiles, and I haven't been consistent, nor have I changed profiles. I would be grateful for some guidance re WikiTree standards however.

Anna Maria Binckele (1755-1759)

1. merge pending with Binkley-264. Binkley-230 is one of Trevor Bauknight's profiles, and he hasn't responded to the merge request.
2. Spelling on this one should definitely be changed to Binckele. Her birth and death were recorded in German, and she didn't live long enough ever to use the Binkley spelling.

Friedrich Binckele (1757-1834)

2. This one raises another question. He's listed with the alternative name Binkele, but not Binckele. While there are indeed a lot of church records that use the spelling Binkele rather than Binckele, I think keeping it in WikiTree just adds confusion. Can it simply be listed generally as a pseudonym for Binckele / Binkley, and can we merge out all current profiles, at least for Peter's family, that are still listed as Binkele? (I may have already caught them all, but I'm not sure.) Otherwise we need to list it as an alternative name on all the Binckele profiles, which doesn't seem to me to be desirable.

Joseph Binckele (1761-1794)
