Note N0018813th Kentucky Infantry, Company D, USA
There are times when we will have to galvanize, that is to portray the Union side at an event. When doing so, we will be known as the 13th Kentucky Infantry.
Colors of the 13th Ky.
The 13th Kentucky Infantry was raised in the fall of 1861 from Green, Barren, Metcalfe and surrounding counties. It took part in the battles of Shiloh and Corinth, MS. It was also part of Buell's Kentucky campain. The 13th also took part of the Atlanta area battles before spending the rest of it's wartime at Bowling Green, KY. It was mustered out in January 1865.
Roster of the original 13th Regiment Kentucky Volunteers, Company D, USA. Let's do them proud.
