Christena was born in 1883 in English Lake, Starke, Indiana, the daughter of Alfred Sphung and Ellmirah Adams. She married, in 1912, to Justice Currier. She passed away in 1954 and is buried with her husband at Highland Cemetery, North Judson, Starke County, Indiana.
