Laurent was born around 1717. Laurent St-Amant ... He passed away in 1791, his funeral record gave him the age of 74. His marriage record did not give any names of parents, it only stated that he was resident of the parish (Rivière-du-Loup (Louiseville)). There is no trace of his assisting at any religious ceremony in that parish as a witness or other such prior to his marriage, although he is often present afterwards.
