Isaac Stanton is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A108711.

Isaac W. Stanton was born 14 Jan 1742/43, the fourth child of Anna Wheeler & Joseph Stanton of Stonington, Connecticut.

[JRF]Note: The correct expression of this person's birth year would be 1742/43 per the Julian-Gregorian calendar shift which affected birth dates within the first 3 months of every year from 1582 until 1752 when the British adopted the Gregorian calendar. This is the main reason for myriad birth year discrepancies running throughout this Wikitree system.

He married 19 Sep 1765 @ Stonington, Connecticut, Ruth Ayer. They had 11 children, the first 8 born in Preston, the last three in Vermont:

  1. Abigail Stanton, b. 7 Jan 1767; married Levi Collins
