Biography

Leonard was born about 1915. He is the son of William Steffen and Elsie Leonhardt.

In October 1940 Leonhardt registered for the World War II Draft. At the time he was living at 1218 South 16th Street, Sheboygan, Wisconsin and listed his wife Mrs. Bernadine Ruth Steffen, same address, as a personal contact. Harry worked for William O. Steffen at Steffen Funeral-Furniture, 904-06 So. 15th Street, and was physically described as follows: white, 5' 10 1/2", weighing 156 pounds, blue eyes, brown hair, of ruddy complexion, and wearing glasses.^[1]
