Biography

Birth

Maria Stetson was born in May 1791 at Kingston, Massachusetts. ^[1] She was the 8th child and daughter of Thomas Stetson and Elizabeth Cooke. ^[2]

Marriage

Married Noah Sparhawk, 27 Aug 1817 at Harvard, Massachusetts. ^[3][2]

Death

She passed away in December, 1882, age 90, at Bangor (at the home of her son-in-law S.D. Thurston). She is buried in the Oak HIll Cemetery, Bucksport, Maine ^[10]
