Henry Stevens lived in Louisiana.

Biography

Henry was born in 1849. He was the son of Ransom Stevens and Mary Robinson. In 1850, he and his parents were living in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.^[1] By 1860, the family had moved to Red River Township, Lafayette County, Arkansas.^[2]

Henry married Mary E. Penix on 1 Apr 1869 in Claiborne Parrish, Louisiana. They had two daughters - Sarah Ann and Mary Isadora.

His second wife was Sarah Adelia Worthington whom he married on May 24, 1874 in Dallas County, Texas. They had seven children. In 1880, they were living in Young County, Texas.^[3] Three children were in the home - Mary, jesse and Ransom. By 1900, they were in Taylor County, Texas.^[4] Only sons, Olen, Joseph and Barney, were still in the home.

He passed away in 1936.^[5] Burial was in the Fort Phantom Hill Cemetery in Phantom Hill, Jones County, Texas.^[6]
