Ella was born in May 1882 in Missouri. She was the daughter of James H. Stevenson and Ida C. Witt. per 1930 census.[1]
Ella married Marion Francis Matthews on 29 March 1927 in Delaplaine, Greene, Arkansas. The couple had 3 children: Francis Delilah Matthews, Norah Matthews and Martha Addie Matthews. Marriage license (married twice?).[2]
In 1930 Ella was living in Evening Shade, Greene, Arkansas.[1]
