Biography

Arnold was born in 1895 in Zelda, Lawrence, Kentucky. He was the son of James Stewart and Clara G Johnson. [1][2]

In the 1900 census Arnoldas (age 5) was the son of James Stewart in Magisterial District 2, Lawrence, Kentucky, United States.[3]

In the 1910 census Arnoldas (age 15) was the single son of James Steward in District 7, Lawrence, Kentucky, United States.[4]

Arnoldus/Arnold served as Pvt 1 in the Pioneer Infantry during World War I. He enlisted February 24, 1918 and was discharged July 16, 1919. He served in Rct 29 Co 8 Bn 159 DB; Service # 1 997 951.[5] Arnoldas was in a military record in 1917-1918 in Lawrence, Kentucky, United States.[6][7]

His father James passed away in 1916. In the 1920 census Arnold (age 22) was the single son of Clary Stewart in East Liverpool, Columbiana, Ohio, United States. Also living with them were his two siblings Celia and Cleveland Stewart.[8]

Arnold (age 22), son of Jas. Stewart & Clara Johnson, married Rose Birkhimer (age 18y) on 15 December 1920 in Columbiana, Ohio, United States.[9]

In the 1930 census Arnold (age 36) was living with his wife Rose (age 26), three children, and mother Clara Stewart (age 65) in East Liverpool, Columbiana, Ohio, United States.[10]

In the 1940 census Arnold (age 45, decorator/pottery) was living with his wife Rose (age 37) and four children in East Liverpool, East Liverpool, Columbiana, Ohio, United States.[11]

He passed away (age 54, married) in 1949 in the hospital in East Liverpool, Columbiana, Ohio, United States. His occupation was potter in a pottery shop.[1][2] [12] Arnold was mentioned on a memorial in Columbiana County Memorial Park, East Liverpool, Columbiana County, Ohio, United States with a death date of 1 November 1949.[7][13]
