Incident
About 1866, Charley Stice was involved in a hot argument with a man named Lyons and was accused of killing him. To avoid prosecution Charley moved to IL and a couple of years later moved to Grayson Co., TX. About 1972, the writer of the original Stice family history talked to Clyde Alexander, a nephew of Mary Alexander Stice who stated the family all denied Charley killing the man.
