Jacob Stout, son of Abel and Williampe Wyckoff Stout, born October 23 177l and died after July 12 1851the date he signed his will and on or about July 21 1851 the date his will was submitted to the court. in Culpepper, Virginia.[1] He married Mildred Ballenger October 27 1796 in Culpepper, Virginia. In 1850 they were living in Culpepper, Virginia with Abel, their son who was thirty-five years old, John Allen ten months old and Mary Stout seventy-six years old. [2]

Will of Jacob Stout
The will of Jacob Stout is recorded in Culpeper County Will Book R, page 409.[10] Additional probate records are located on pages 463, 465, and 470.
The will was written on 12 July 1851, and produced in court on 21 July 1851. Legatees named included the wife, Mildred, and children and grandchildren with the estate divided into 9 equal shares after the death of Mildred.
