Synopsis of her obituary is as follows:

Mrs. Sidney (Sally) Chambliss, 74, died Sunday in a Laurel hospital after a short illness.

Funeral services will be held at Indian Springs Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband; daughters: Mrs. Glenn Pickering, Mrs. Hiram Cruise; sons: J. D. Chambliss, Jack Chambliss; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren: sisters: Mrs. Lennie McKenzie; Mrs. Stella Millings; and brother, J. P. Sullivan of Mize. Two other daughters, Irma and Bernice Chambliss, preceded her in death.
