It's a slow process, was stuck for a long time on my Stewart line but DNA testing opened up a whole new world. I enjoy learning how we are all connected. I'm mostly interested in learning about close relatives in the first two or four generations. But I am open to learning about everything related to our trees.

I consider myself an novice but I have been researching for roughly 30 years here and there.

Biography

  • Born in 1974 at the Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, WA (demolished in 1994).

My parents separated and divorced within a couple of years and mom came home to Ohio where she soon married my brother's father, Mark. This also ended in divorce shortly after. Then she married Paul and they had my sister a few years later. And my early years I spent a lot of time around my grandparents in Bryan, Ohio. I am the oldest of several cousins. I really wish we'd had a much closer family and kept in touch over the years. I would be interested to learn more if anyone cares to share (from both sides of my family). ❤️
