Biography
This child for Donald and Janet Sutherland was discovered while searching for all of the births to that couple between the years 1791, their marriage, and 1820. Clyne Parish is not the usual location for this couple; pervious births have all been in Rogart Parish, but the birth does "fit" with the couple's usual timing pattern, the Scottish naming convention, and I know the parish boundaries changed from time to time during this period and Donald was known to be "in Brora" at the time of his marriage to Janet.
