Hi, I am Penny Delayne (Tade) Beasley. I have been doing genealogy research (off & on) since the mini series "Roots" appeared on TV in the mid 1970's. My husband & I took advantage of the fact he worked in Washington DC. So on Friday evenings we would frequently go to the National Archives & look at microfilm until our eyes fell out. Also the Library of Congress was used a few times as well. We also enjoy going on field trip to communities where our ancestors have lived.
I totally agree with the WikiTree mission & will abide by your 9 simple rules.
3. Our help pages, top right, have all sorts of useful information.
If you would like to contribute, click the volunteer button and leave a comment here on your profile to let our greeters know. You should include a little bit about how you plan to contribute to the tree.
