Biography

Jane was born in 1804 in Russell County, Virginia, now Wyoming County, West Virginia. She is the daughter of John Taylor and Mary Ann Varney. Jane died about 1860.

Research Notes

Jane (age 49 on the 1853 application) is mentioned as a child of John Taylor and Polly Taylor in her father's War of 1812 pension application.
