OBITUARY. Early on the morning of August 2 Mrs Mary M. Dempster, relict of the late Mr. E. Dempster, M.L.C.. died at her home, Springfield, Northam, after an illness that did not last an hour. The deceased lady was a daughter of the late Patrick Taylor, who came out from Scotland to this State in 1831 and settled at Albany, where Mrs Dempster was born in 1839. Her husband predeceased her by some years, but a family of three sons and three daughters survive her. They are Messrs, ,W. P. Dempster, of Northam and Toodyay; C. E. Dempster, Esperance, J. A. V. Dempster, Wongamine; Mrs. J. B. Dunlop, Ireland; Mrs. F. Egerton-Warburton, Mt Barker; and Miss C. Dempster. Springfield. The deceased lady was highly esteemed and her death !s keenly regretted by a large circle of friends.
