Biography
William Taylor was born in Derbyshire, England.
William was born in 1868. His parents were William Taylor and Eliza Shephard [1] He was christened on 28 August 1868 at Killamarsh, Derbyshire. [2]
William appears in the 1871 and 1881 census living with his parents and siblings at Killamarsh, Derbyshire. [3][4]
William married Rhoda Brunt on 10 June 1889 at Eckington, Derbyshire. [5] They had eleven children, but some of them died in infancy.
William and Rhoda lived with their family in Walkers Lane, Killamarsh at the time of the 1891, 1901 and 1911 census. [6][7][8]
Rhoda passed away in 1939, age 70,[9]
In 1939 William was living alone at 6 Woodside Avenue, Killamarsh, Derbyshire.[10]
William passed away in 1944, age 76. [11]
