When Rev. Sequoyah E Teehee was born on September 4, 1925, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, his father, Sequoyah, was 25 and his mother, Verona, was 20. He had four brothers and one sister and was the husband of Mona Naomi Jackson. He served almost three years in the U.S. Army during WWII, having enlisted 24 Nov 1943 until 9 Apr 1946^[1]. died on August 3, 2003, in Ashdown, Arkansas, at the age of 77, and was buried in Arden, Arkansas.
