Biography
Frances was born about 1888. She was the daughter of Francis Tennant and Annie Redmayne.
UK Census Date 1911: Living with her parents and siblings in Lympne, Kent, England. Aged 23 and single.
She married Captain Hon. Guy Charteris, son of Hugo Richard Charteris, 11th Earl of Wemyss and Mary Constance Wyndham, on 23 July 1912.
They had the following children:
- Anne Geraldine Mary Charteris (b. 19 Jun 1913, d. c Jul 1981)
- Frances Laura Charteris (b. 10 Aug 1915, d. 19 Feb 1990)
- Mary Rose Charteris (b. 10 Feb 1919, d. 21 Dec 1962)
- Captain Hugo Francis Guy Charteris (b. 11 Dec 1922, d. 1970)
She passed away on 5 November 1925 at the age of 37.[1]
