Biography

Larnard Thayer was born on 18 May 1775 in Bellingham, Suffolk, Massachusetts, son of Ezekiel Thayer (1746 - 1791) and Huldah (Thayer) Albee (1749 - >1821).^[1]

Larnard married Polly Parnell, daughter of Benjamin Parnel and Abigail Richardson, on 25 Apr 1799 in Franklin, Norfolk, Massachusetts.^[2] Their children were:

1. Joseph Harding Thayer 1800–1878
2. Ezekiel Thayer (1804 - 1904)
3. Polly Emma Thayer 1805–1832.

Larnard married Lydia Silsby , daughter of Jonathan Silsby and Rachel Blood, on 4 Jul 1809 in Acworth, Sullivan, New Hampshire, United States.^[3] Their children were:

1. Larnard Thayer Jr 1810–1842
2. Lina Thayer 1814–1865
3. Ithiel Thayer (1812 - 1813)
