His inventory was taken on 10 December 1745 in Plymouth. He was a slaveholder. Included in the inventory were four enslaved black people, a man named Asher, one named Ruben, one named Dan, and a woman named Binah[2]

In 1746, Elizabeth received her dower, and the remainder of the estate was set out to his only son John, and his only daughter Hannah.[4]
In 1751, an account of his estate was recorded.[5]
In 1779, his widow Elizabeth's (who had married Timothy Fales) dower was distributed to the heirs of Nathaniel Thomas, viz. John Thomas, and Hannah Thomas.[6]
