Biography

Daniel Tindell (aka Tindall)^[1] was born March 16, 1795, and christened April 19, 1795, at Saint Olave, Southwark, Surrey, England.^[2]

He came to NSW on the 'Kangaroo' in 1814 with his mother to join his already transported father Daniel.

Daniel married Jane Bull on 16 March 1817 at St Johns Church of England, Parramatta, NSW^[3]

The 1828 New South Wales Census shows him living with his family in Liverpool, New South Wales, No. 11:
Daniel Tindall, 32, Carpenter (arrived on Ship Kangoroo, 1814)
Jane Tindall, 29 (arrived on ship Minervia, 1800)
John Tindall, 9 ( born ca. 1819 in NSW)
James Tindall, 6 (born ca. 1822 in NSW)

He passed away in 1876^[5][6], his death registered at Liverpool, NSW^[7] and he is buried in Liverpool Pioneer Memorial Park, Liverpool^[8].
