Daniel was baptized in the Reformed Dutch Church of Albany, New York, on 22 August 1691, recorded as the child of Carel Hansz and Lysbeth Rinkhout.[1]
His will was written August 1, 1747 and proved October 18, 1748. He named his "Loving friends", Peter Cornue and Reynier Mynderse his executors, and mentioned Carel Hanszen Toll, "son of my son Johannes Toll, late deceased", three daughters, Susannah, Hannah, and Geertruy Tol, son-in-law Cornelius Santvoord, Eva Toll, "Relict of my son Johannes", and Sarah Meby, daughter of Peter Meby. He also named his "two negro men Tom and Dick". [2]
