Tolliver Sr. Betty and Karl were not married at the time. Betty was married to Stanley Raymond (Ray) Tracy at the time of her birth so her birth certificate has her last name as Tracy. Ruby was adopted by Ray and Betty Comp who changed her name from Ruby Lorraine to Katherine A Comp. Katherine's biological father was Karl Joe Tolliver Sr who was unaware of her birth.
