Biography

Sophia Ann Kathleen Towns was born in 1846, the eldest daughter of Robert Towns and Sophia Wentworth. [1]

Sophia married George Osborne at Paddington in Sydney in 1865.[2]

George and Sophia became the parents of:

  1. Sophie, b 1866. d 1869.
  2. Janie, b 1870,
  3. Henry Stuart, b 1874. d 1942.
  4. Mary Dorothy, b 1876, d 1963. married Wilkinson.
  5. Darcy Wentworth, b 1878. d 1931.

  7. Thomas Noel, b 1882. d 1882.

  9. Robert Towns, b 1868. d 1916.

Sophia Osborne died at Sydney, New South Wales in 1901[3] and was buried at Waverley Cemetery in Bronte, New South Wales, Australia. [4]
