Biography

William was born about 1682, son of William Traill 1st of Westness and his wife Barbara Balfour.^[1]

William married, on 16 Jan 1714, Isabel Fea, daughter of William Fea of Milnfield. He was made Burgess of Kirkwall by order of Council, 28 Sept 1706.^[2]

He died in April 1744.^[1]
