I think that the collaboration aspect of WikiTree is exciting along with seeing my family joining into the global family. I found the duplication when I used the new Error Report for the first time yesterday. You can find it in the menu under your name at the top right hand side of the screen. It is a good way of validating the data that you have entered. It also shows errors in profiles that aren't on your watch list.
I have approved merger of Trewren-52 and Trewren-135 as they are the same person. I think profile manager for Trewren-135 (Lynda) needs to approve this to finalise. Haven't done this before - some collaboration at last - exciting!
Trewren-52 and Trewren-135 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same birth & death dates/locations, occupation and his wife's name is the same.
