Children
Riley Truitt b: 1719 in Worcester, Maryland, United States
James TRUITT born 1721 in Accomack, Virginia, United States
William Truitt born circa 1723 in Worcester Co, Maryland, United States
Micajah Truitt born circa 1725 in Worcester, Maryland, United States
Mary Truitt . born circa 1727
Hannah Truitt born circa 1729 in Worcester, Maryland, United States
Ann Truitt born 24 Dec 1733 in St Peters, New Kent, Virginia, United States
This is too is confusing there are so many Riley TRUITT's and Riley married sisters
and then his son Parker married a 2nd cousin Rhoda... just to make things more ????
(10 Sept 2020): Ann Truitt b. 1733 is not listed in Thomas Truitt's will (see below) and the New Kent, Virginia birth place is not consistent with the rest of the family 's location in Worcester, Maryland. It is possible that this is the daughter of a different Thomas Truitt.
Will
Thomas's will, signed in 1763 and proved in 1764 lists his wife Mary, children Riley, James, William, Micajiah or Mijaciah, Mary, Hannah Truitt Tompson, as well as Riley Truitt's son Joshua Truitt.

Research Notes
PLACE OF DEATH: I had "Broad Creek, Sussex Delaware" but on the f-a-g is Maryland, need to research to get the exact place.........(10 Sep 2020): Thomas Truitt's will was signed in Worcester County, Maryland.
Someone has suggested that this stone is a Cenotaph not the headstone for the family members actually laid to rest here.

Note: Date and place are not given but James' father's will mentions his :children--James as one of them--who are to be given their portions of his property "as they come to age of 18." That seems to show that James was not yet 18 when the will was written in 1670.
Will signed:12 January 1763; Will proved: 6 March 1764
