Biography

Stephen was born about 1806. He was the son of Stephen Tryon and Abigail Walkley. He passed away in 1866, but one record says 4th of April and one the 6th of April.^[1]

He was married to Jane Farnam in New Hampshire by Caleb Plastridge, JP in 1834.^[2] They appear to have had one daughter, Patience, born in about 1844, who appears with them and her grandmother Abigail in the 1850 census.^[3] He also appears in tax records for Vermont in 1863, 1864 and 1865.

Stephen III died in Hartland, Vermont 4 Apr 1866, age 60. His death record states that he was the son of Stephen Tryon and Abigail.^[4]
