He was married to Emeline Taylor in Glastonbury, Oct. 30, 1837, by Rev. Warren G. Jones. He died in 1885[1] is buried in Still Hill (now called Old South) Cemetery.[2]. Warren was a sailor according to the 1850 census.
Research Notes
A Warren Tryon, along with Charles Tryon, were appraisers for the estate of Thomas Tryon. The Warren of this profile is the only known Warren in the right place (Glastonbury) and time (1849) to be this person and he has a brother Charles.
Research Problem
Warren is listed as the youngest son of William Tryon and Anna Hurlbut in The Tryon Family in America. However, his birth date of 1816 makes it impossible that Anna Hurlbut was his mother.[3]
