Father Sir James Touchet, 5th Lord Audley, Chief Justice & Chamberlain of South Wales^[1] b. c 1398, d. 23 Sep 1459

Mother Margaret Roos^[2] b. c 1400, d. bt Sep 1423 - 14 Feb 1430

Sir John Audley, 6th Lord Audley, Lord High Treasurer was born circa 1426 at of Chichester, Sussex, England.^[3]

He married Anne Echingham, daughter of Sir Thomas Echingham and Margaret Knyvet, before 1456; They had 4 sons (Sir James, 7th Lord Audley; John; George; & Thomas) and 3 daughters (Eleanor, wife of Roger Lewknor; Elizabeth, wife of Sir William Filoll; & Anne, wife of Sir John Wingfield).^[4]

Sir John Audley, 6th Lord Audley, Lord High Treasurer died on 22 or 26 September 1490.^[5] He was buried on the south side of the chancel of the church of Shere, Surrey.^[6] His heir was his son James.^[5]
