Biography

Alice Higgins was born in Great Hampden, Buckinghamshire. She married James Nash in the same parish.[1] Their first two children were born in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire.

Note

"I, too, for a long time thought Alice Nash's maiden name was Burgess...but now I know that it was Alice HIGGINS, not Burgess...Richard Benson wrote NASH FAMILY OF WEYMOUTH,MA...his research was extensive and he proved the wedding records of Alice HIGGINS and James NASH in England...

the book was a God-send because he is a noted researcher, former officer of NEHGS and I was lucky that he put so much effort into the NASH line...it saved me years of work!"
