Jane was born in Virginia about 1807 in Virginia. Her parents were William McCormick and Nancy Hendricks. She married William Carmack and they were living in Overton Co., TN in the 1850 Census. Nancy McCormick, age 83, was also living in her home. Jane died about 1860 and was buried at Ruth Chapel Cemetery in Overton County.
