Elizabeth Dunstone, daughter of James & Elizabeth, was christened on 10 May 1801 in Camborne.[1][2]
Elizabeth Dunstone of Illogan and Thomas Carter of Camborne were married on 19 May 1823 in Illogan, Cornwall - the witnesses were Matthew Dunstone & John Willoughby.[3]
In 1841 Elizth Carter (age 35-39) lived at Trelowarren Street in Camborne with her husband Ths (40-44, Copper Miner) and six children: Thomas (15-19, Copper Miner), Wm (14, Copper Miner Boy), Eliza (12, Mine Girl), James (6), Mary (3), and John (1), as well as [Elizabeth's mother?] Elizth Dunsten (65-69).[4][5]
Elizabeth's husband passed away in 1850.
In 1851 Elizabeth Carter (age 49, Miner's Widow) lived in Camborne with seven of her children: William (24, Copper Miner), Elizabeth (21, Copper Ore Dresser), James (15, Copper Miner), Mary G[J] (13, Copper Ore Dresser), John (10, Tin Ore Dresser), Eliza (8, Scholar), and Caroline (6, Scholar).[6]
In 1861 Elizabeth Carter (age 58) lived at South Terrace in Camborne with two daughters: Caroline (16, Pupil Teacher) and Elizabeth Williams (31), as well as grandson Thomas Williams (7, Scholar).[7]
In 1871 Elizabeth Carter (age 70) lived at South Terrace in Camborne with her daughter Mary J Williams (33) and three grandchildren: John Williams (10, Scholar), Caroline Williams (8, Scholar), and Bessie Williams (6, Scholar).[8]
Elizabeth Carter passed away on 15 Apr 1876, aged 76 years. Her death was registered in Redruth, Cornwall in the second quarter of the year.[9] She is buried at St Martin and St Meriadoc Churchyard in Camborne with her husband.[10]
