Claude was born in 1711[1]. Claude Vandandaigue dit Gadbois .
Footnotes
The entry on record for Claude's birth name was misspelled as Vandandaique instead of Vandandaigue. His father, also Claude, was spelled as Vandandaigue. The church record of Claude's marriage to Élisabeth Hogue has him as Vandandaigue. I think that the priest at the baptism may have spelt the name incorrectly. Correct me if I am wrong.
Micheline Gadbois MacDonald
Not wrong, baptism was misspelled as Vandandaiq, par for the course [2]
