He was noted as a farmer, born 1847 in Alabama and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Iowa P Vaughn, son Rufus M Vaughn, son William I Vaughn, son Robert F Vaughn, son James P Vaughn and son Clawd L Vaughn.^[1]

Absolem Tillman "Till" Vaughn is buried at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Locust Fork, Blount County, Alabama.^[4]
