Consent for Abraham to marry Martha was signed by her father George Rowland on 1 January 1815 in Shenandoah, Virginia, United States.[1] A marriage bond was signed on 2 January 1815 and they married soon after.[2]
In the 1850 census Abraham (age 56) was in Wirt, Virginia, United States.[3]
Note: Abraham and Martha were living in Shenandoah County, VA in 1827, in 1830, and in 1837 ... by which time that part of Shenandoah County had become Warren County.
Abraham may have moved to Wirt Co, after he sold his property to his son, Addison (b. ca 1821 Shenandoah Co, VA), in 1844. In 1851, Addison sold his property to Marcus Landsberry, and married Elizabeth Thorn, 28 Feb 1854 in Wirt Co. Sometime afterward, also in 1854, he cut his throat and died.
