Biography

In the 1860 census Jacob is living in Chest Springs Borough, Cambria, Pennsylvania, United States with wife Jane Wagner, he and she are 53 years old. Their children at home are James Wagner 17, Stalia Wagner a girl 15, Angeline Wagner 12, Martina Wagner 8, Veronica Will 5. Everyone is listed as born in Pennsylvania.[1]

1870 census shows him with wife Jane, both age 63, and children Lidda J. 25 and Matiena 18, next door is James Wagner and family, possibly his son. [2]
