She was first married on 19 January 1843 in Monroe County, Tennessee, to Reuben Madison Wilhite the son of Reuben and Elizabeth Jenkins Wilhite.[1] After Reuben died in the Mexican War she was remarried in about 1855 to William S. Morris.
