Biography

Peter Ware married Catheren Iton [Eaton] on 8 Jun 1612, in Tenterden, co. Kent, England. There are two sources for this marriage. The first is, Tenterden Kent Marriages 1597 - 1894, By Peter Smith, and the second is England Marriages, 1538 - 1973, LDS Project: 102150-7 Film: 1737094. The second source shows Peter Ware and Catherine Iten [Eaton] married on 8 Jun 1613 in Tenterden.^[1]
The original parish register image available at findmypast.co.uk confirms absolutely that the marriage was on 8 Jun 1612, NOT 8 Jun 1613 even though multiple sites show both dates.^[2] A low-resolution partial image is shown here to validate this information. Peter Ware and Catherine Eaton had the following children:

1. Peter Ware III born about 1613.
2. Thomas Ware born about 1617.
3. John Ware born about 1619.
4. Robert Ware born about 1622, died April 19, 1699 Dedham Massachusetts.
5. Nicholas Ware born about 1627.

At present there is no further information about Peter Ware II, other than his marriage to Catherine Eaton. The Ware Family History of county Kent, England says without source that Peter pre-deceased his father by 5 years and died about 1627 in Tenterden, Kent.
