Biography

Nancy was born about 1776 in Prince Edward, Virginia. She was the daughter of Thomas Watkins and Betty Ann "Betsy" Venable.

In 1814, in Prince Edward, Virginia, she married Thomas Allen. They had 4 known children.

2. Henry Watkins Allen b. 1820 VA - d. 1866 Mexico, m. Salome Ann Crane

She passed away in 1833 and was buried in the Colonel Charles Allen Family Cemetery in Prince Edward.

After she passed, Thomas & their children moved to Ray County, Missouri.

Research Notes

Some researchers show her being born in New York. Her parents and all her siblings were born in Prince Edward County, Virginia. Therefore, it is most likely she was born in Virginia, too.
