Biography

In 1875 Fanny is listed with her parents in Livingston County. She was 1 year old.[1]


1880 - living with parents and siblings in Covington, Wyoming Co. Age 6. Listed as Fanny Watson. [2]

1887 - Married Frederick William Dygert on December 4.

1900 - living in Boonville with husband Frederick and their two children. Age 26. Married 12 years. Mother of 2, 2 living.[3]

1905 - living in Rochester with Frederick and their two children. Age 32.[4]

1910 - living with husband Frederick, son Fred, and daughter Neva on Paige Street in Rochester. Age 38. Works in a grocery store. First marriage, married 22 years. [5]

1920 - living on Atlantic Avenue in Rochester, with daughter Neva and granddaughter Frances. Age 39, inaccurate. Saleslady in a grocery store. Marital status given as widowed, also inaccurate.[6]

1923 - divorce from Fred granted in Michigan on January 31.[7]

1930 - living on Alexander Street in Rochester. Age 48, married, age 15 at marriage. Head of household. Also in household, grandson Joseph Emory Dygert, listed as Emory, age 10.[8]

1940 - living with daughter Neva at 64 Alexander Street, Rochester. Divorced. Age 66. Clerk at a retail grocery.[9]

1948 - died on February 14. [10][11][12]

Buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester.[13]

Obituary

Dygert -- Entered into rest on Saturday, Feb. 14, 1948, Frances Z. (Nan) Dygert of 64 Alexander St. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Neva E. Reynolds; one son, Fred L. Dygert; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Tinney and Mrs. Maud Crandall; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two nieces.
Friends may visit The Frick Home, 236 South Ave. at Comfort, where a service will be held Tuesday at 2 o'clock. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
