Biography
Except for her 2 marriages, there is very little we know about Levina/Luvina/Lovina. We have not found her in a census yet. The marriage records and her name in Othniel's will all seem to have a different spelling.
Conflation
There are 2 census records, 1850 and 1860, both in Tattnall Co., GA, which have a Luvina or Luvicey with Joseph Collins. The age fits but the 1850 census recorded a birth place of Burke Co., GA. This could be correct as county lines were changing frequently back then. But "Luvicey" is a different name and Luvina. The 1850 record is clearly "Luvinia" and the 1860 is clearly "Luvicey". Additional research show that the couple in Tattnall Co., GA is different - that Joseph Collins married Levicey Cook in Tattnall Co., GA in 1815.
