James Webb South African 1820 Settler and Descendants
James Webb was the son of Christopher Webb and Mary Evans, (1820 Settlers). He was born on 25 November 1836, in Grahamstown, where his father was a shoemaker[1]. He was baptized in the Methodist Church, Grahamstown, on 17 December 1847.[2].[3]
He married Stella Rhoda Perkins Miles, and had at least seven children, who were all majors by the time of his death.[3]
He passed away on 13 December 1910 at his home at 7 St. Luke's Road, East London.[3]
