Emily was enslaved by Ann Hunt (Smith) Webb in Person County, North Carolina. In August 1840, Emily was named in the estate inventory of Ann Hunt (Smith) Webb.[1]

On 13 October 1840, Emily was named in the estate division of Ann Hunt (Smith) Webb. Emily was inherited by Ann's son James Lewis Webb.[2]
