Biography

Conflicting Birth Date: 1584 [Robert Charles Anderson apparently did not find evidence of his birth in 1584[1]].

A record of Francis Weston's birth and/or baptism has not been discovered. Based on the date of his freemanship (1 January 1632/3[2]), he was born by 1611,[3] but he may have been born much earlier.

A record of Francis Weston's death has also not been identified, but his demise occurred by/before "5 June 1645,"[4] as the following record is found dated "5 (4) 1645" as "Per cur. William Aspinwall."[5]

To the Executors of Francis Weston.
You are required to take notice of an Attachment against
the Lands of Francis Weston, so as to bind you to be
responsall, at the next Court at Boston, to answer the
complaint of William Arnald, for withholding a debt of
thirty shilling due to him, and hereof not to faile at your perill.

He was married to Margaret ______, otherwise said the widow of Robert Pease of Great Baddow and the mother of immigrants Robert Pease and John Pease. Her will (as "Margit Pease" of Salem) was dated 1 September 1644 and proved 1 January 1644/5.[6]

Neither James Savage (in 1862[7]) nor Robert Charles Anderson (in 1995[8]) found the record of children associated with Francis Weston.

On February 27, 1653/4, Robert Coles of Warwick sold a dwelling house and a parcel of land that had formerly belonged to "Fraunces Weston" [9]
