Biography

Leonard Wheeler was born June 3, 1691 in Province of Maryland, the son of Francis Wheeler and Wynyfred Greene Wheeler.^[1] He married Elizabeth Hanson in Province of Maryland about 1725 to 1729, and they were parents of twelve children. He died intestate in 1763 in Province of Maryland.

Research Notes

Martha Wheeler Beavan has not been included in the list of children because there is no source to prove that she is the child of Leonard Wheeler and his wife. Also she is not listed in the "Wheeler Family of o Charles County, Maryland" by Walter Ball.

Two more children are listed by Ball, but have not been included yet because of the lack of additional records.
