Biography
Batson Whitehurst was born circa 1670, in Lower Norfolk county, Virginia, In 1691, Lower Norfolk County was split to create Norfolk County and Princess Anne County. Batson's parents are Richard Whitehurst, born circa 1636 and Margarey Nichols, born circa 1650. [1]
Batson Whitehurst married Margaret (Snaile) Scott, a widow with two children from her first marriage, Henry Scott and Mary Scott. Batson Whitehurst wrote his Will on October 1, 1759 and it was proven in Princess Anne County, Virginia. His wife Margaret was living at the time that his Will was written. [2]
